Kris has been talking about making this bread recipe for forever but has yet to do it. My cousin beat him to it and it looks so amazing and sounds delicious. One of us should try it out, maybe Kris...
i was just reading about this bread yesterday on a website. it sounds fantastic! and if you don't have a clay pot or dutch oven, you can make it in any pot with a lid...and if the lid has a plastic handle (like mine) either put tinfoil over the handle or just cover the pot with tinfoil without the lid.
we tried it! we made it in a dutch oven (b/c our pot has rubber handles) and it turned out perfectly. it only took 30 minutes total time to cook. we let it rise for the maximum number of hours. it is so so so easy to make, if you plan ahead, b/c it is virtually labor free. kris made the dough in about 5 min., seriously. the crust was nice and crispy, the inside was spongy and delicious. we want to make our own bread from now on (we'll see if that happens, but it's much more likely w/ this recipe).
